The restaurant is in an exposed location and is certainly suffering from the Corona measures. This is precisely why one should be careful to comply with the regulations. Instead, the landlord sits at the table and loudly proclaims conspiratorial theories, something like that doesn't work. The coffee and cake was okay, but you can't go wrong there. I can only recommend it because the view of the Weser is extremely beautiful.

Nice place to stay. Ideally located for cyclists halfway between Eschwege and Creuzburg. Only four stars as the prices of the restaurant are a bit too high.

It is a good address for a short trip. However, if you are allergic to wasps, you should avoid this place this year. It was not possible to eat undisturbed. The food was pretty good. Average average. .with the Weser in view a very sweet place.

Small restaurant at the old harbor. Food is okay for the price. Staff is friendly. It's a shame, the ship is no longer in the water, that would of course have been an additional highlight. Still nicely prepared and you feel good. Gladly again.

It is ok to point out to visitors from other regions that mouth and nose protection is not required in this restaurant. Here you were actually forced to take it off (clear request, so loud that many turn around). According to his numerous, unprovoked statements, the gentleman at the reception didn't think it was great. Sorry to say it that clearly: This is not possible !!! ... and is also disrespectful to guests who consider this to be appropriate or who are at risk for their health. Tried it twice within eight days (it's a nice bike stopover and restaurant), the same behavior pattern at two different receptions. The carelessly small letter at the toilet "please only enter one by one", which cannot be kept spatially (because you can only see it too late and you cannot queue up there) does the rest.

A nice place to stop over. A 🍺 and a sausage should be in there! Make sure to check it out when you're around!

Very nice atmosphere even in times of face masks and disinfection. You sit by the Werra and can enjoy the afternoon or evening. The staff is very helpful and friendly! The food is delicious and the dessert is great.

Very good food. Great service and nice waitresses. The currywurst and the tarte flambée were absolutely great. The boss always had everything under control, with a great overview and calm. Many thanks!!

Fine food, not very cheap for German standards. We have eaten here 3x. Service often friendly, but also 1x really unkind! Unfortunately!

On our canoe tour, in the best summer weather, we made a stop here and enjoyed an icebreaker on the terrace.

Wanted to eat nice with baby ... What a stupid idea! There is no changing area or the like, 'was allowed' to wrap the baby in an icy room on a cold wooden table ... The staff was visibly overwhelmed and did not give me time to look at the menu (due to previous ice cold events with baby). Incredible, nonexistent service, I have never experienced anything like this in Berlin! Conclusion: never again!

A very nicely located spot that you should definitely visit. Cheerful and attentive staff, good food and drinks at moderate prices. The boss was a bit musty (probably daily form), but everything else was great!

Beautiful restaurant right on the Werra. Went here in good weather and it was really nice. Inside and outside really charming. The service was very nice and the food was great. Waiting time for food was completely in the frame, despite a well-attended economy. What more do you want, if you make a little trip to Wanfried. Keep it up, gladly again!

Great place to have a beer or meal and watch the gentle river flow by. Traditional German cuisine. Everything we had was tasty. From the schnitzel to the cold beer.
